It's been a couple of weeks I've come to IIIT Allahabad for pursuing a summer project. And, the folks here are not as friendly as they are back in Trichy. I don't know why, but they refuse to divulge their names, probably thinking I'm a Scotland Yard official investigating their role in the de-throning of Tony Blair.
Apart from my lovely family, I miss my guitar the most. More than once I've had to stop my hands from strumming chords on an imaginary guitar, and these people look at me and give me weird looks, probably thinking I'm confirming their existence by accessing my invisible super-gadget.
There's no one to talk to other than my friend Vivek here, and he's bugging the hell out of me watching "Friends" 24x7, laughing so loudly I can hear him even if I go two floors below for salvation. And after that come the spurts of his sarcasm, thinking they apotheosise him. ( He actually expects a laughter track to play after every not-at-all funny statement he makes and tries to copy Chandler or Joey)
Anyways, let's all pray that the 12th of July comes soon enough before I get driven to insanity. Yes I'm off to Mumbai for a week and finally back to Trichy, home sweet home !! ( I can't believe I just said that !! )
Before I drive the rest of you crazy,
I'm off,
Hardik
A few days back, I finished reading one of the most inspiring non-fiction books ever, a collection of true stories of heroes ( by that I mean real life heroes, not Superman ) who fought against all odds and made it big. I will enlist some of them here. Oh and the book is called Critical Choices that Change Lives by Daniel R. Castro.
Read this book and change your life, say some of the readers. And if this book doesn't inspire you, you better get yourself checked up !
The book begins with lines from my favorite poem of all times, "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. The lines go :
somewhere ages and ages hence;
Two roads diverged in a wood and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference
- Walt Disney and his brothers were physically abused by their father as children. His brothers fled home, but he remained and drew imaginary characters. When he was young, he signed a contract with Universal Studios for producing short films on a character created by him, "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit". At the end of the contract, Universal Studios announced they owned exclusive rights to the character and disposed him off. He again started from scratch and, inspired by his rodent infested office, created the character called "Mickey Mouse" , what became an overnight success and soon, a worldwide phenomenon. So, who do we know better, Oswald of Mickey ??
- An 88-year old African American named Oseola McCarty woman had been a washerwoman all her life, working for a very meager income. She had saved a little money every month for her whole life, and in 1995, not wanting to know how much money she had made, she donated all of her savings to University Of Southern Mississippi to finance scholarships, which amounted to a hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Several news channels covered this and the world was stunned. Everyone who met her in person spoke about how "clean" she made them. She received scores of awards and other honors recognizing her unselfish spirit, and President Bill Clinton presented her with a Presidential Citizens Medal, the nation’s second highest civilian award, during a special White House Ceremony. She died in 1999 with a bout of cancer, without a spouse or any children.
- The story of Soichiro Honda is an example of creative genius. Upon graduation in 1922, he joined an automobile shop as an apprentice, and was given the job of cleaning up and baby-sitting the owner's child. He watched in fascination as the mechanics repaired vehicles. In 1923, a great earthquake struck Tokyo and killed a 100,000 people. All mechanics returned home to be with their families. This gave him a chance to work as a mechanic, and repair cars damaged in the earthquake. At the age of 21, Soichiro began his own business with just one employee. As it began to flourish, a severe depression struck all businesses, but his survived because of his excellent skill and knowledge of foreign cars. His aim was to make piston rings and sell them to Toyota corporation. But he was having problems with the composition of the metal, and it looked like a dead end. But, at the age of 30, he enrolled in a technical school to learn metallurgy. Fellow students mocked him but Soichoro was oblivious to them. He realized a diploma was useless and didn't bother taking the graduation exams. He built a race-car with an old airplane engine and other handmade parts, and it crashed during a race causing him a broken shoulder and several injuries. Now injured, his life savings gone, and his piston ring business failing, he still didn't see a brick wall. He took 50 of his best piston rings to Toyota, but he was rejected because only 3 passed inspection tests. He even sold his wife's jewelry to make ends meet. He joined a small automotive company so he could have a steady paycheck. At his new job, he invented a piston polishing machine and finally that company was acquired by Toyota, and he supplied piston rings to the military. But in 1945, US aircraft bombed his plant and everything was gone. He, however collected metal from leftover vehicles and started a new factory in a small town. The end of the war saw destruction in Japan, and people needed a new way of transportation, so he fitted small engines from destroyed military vehicles into motorcycles and started selling them. He ran out of engines and had no money. He wrote to several bicycle shop owners about his idea and collected enough money. But his first motorbikes were too big and only a few bought them. So he stripped them down and this design won him several accolades. He started The Honda Motor Corporation in 1948 which prospered.

PS: Some phrases are taken from the book, thanks to Daniel R. Castro for his excellent book.
I'll tell you what I'm so eager about.. It's Firefox 3 !! It's release is due on Tuesday and Mozilla wants to make a world record for the most downloaded software in 24 hours.. Well they better have "very dedicated servers" to handle all that traffic. They are currently taking pledges on the Spread Firefox website. Over a million have pledged (yes that would include me :P) so let's see if Firefox 3 lives up to it's expectations..
Leaving the open source world aside for a moment, I would like to take a moment to appreciate Windows SkyDrive, the free online hard-drive service operated by Microsoft on skydrive.live.com
It pretty much competes with the best in the business, including one-click sharing, personal and public folders and a decent 5GB hard drive, and also a ball-game to play while you're uploading stuff if the upload takes longer than expected. Well, I love it and I prefer it over my previous favorite box.net which is based on Web 2.0 and was very harsh on my 52 kbps connection.
Another service I just started using is StumbeUpon and is an excellent way of discovering things you really want to know about but don't yet know what to Google for. So next time you want to learns something new, just Stumble !
Anyhoo.. can't wait for Download Day, that's Tuesday. So, have you pledged ??
P.S. : You can now access my blog just by visiting hardik.tk !!
Yes, after four long years the fever is back again. This fever has spread way outside the football crazy continent of Europe. Euro 2008 is here. So, just grab your bowl of popcorn, wear your favorite team's jersey and hit the couch. The women of the house shall not get the remote, at least for some evenings in a row. There will be night-outs, people coming late to work, students going late to school/college... but the whole world knows, and I think we're excused for a few days :)
So.. Who do you fancy ?? WC champions Italy, defending champs Greece or the good old French guys ?? Do drop a comment to tell me your choice.. My favorites remain Germany and Holland. So it's just about 5 hours away now.. Check the full schedule here.
So Nashledanou Cau, Adeus, Hoşça kal, Zbogom, Doviđenja! , Servus, Do Widzenia, La Revedere, Au Reovoir, Tot Ziens, Ciao, Adios, Do svidanija, Yiá sas, Hej da....... till u understand wat i just said..

A mob threw glasses and bottles at the police. It was a full scale riot and people were being treated by paramedics on the streets in England. Yes, this was the reaction from the Chelsea fans back home, suffering a defeat in the Champions League final against the mighty Reds, namely Manchester United, in a nail-biting tie. There was no separating them even after 120 minutes of football.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s plan was working perfectly. Ronaldo skipping past Essien many-a-time and finally gave the Reds’ fans something to cheer about after a powerful header in the bottom corner left Peter Cech ball-watching.1-0. But, towards the end of the first half, a half-cross half-shot from Micheal Essien led to a couple of deflections and Frank Lampard found the ball at his feet and casually flicked it past the defeated Van-der-Sar below him. 1-1.
Chances didn’t stop there. Two shots off the woodwork from Drogba and Lampard almost gave them their first Champions League title. Brilliant work from Cech denied Tevez the late-winner he is famous for.
The second half was defaced by a flurry of cards, including a red for Drogba, for slapping Vidic across his face, just because Tevez didn’t return the ball back to Chelsea after they deliberately kicked the ball out of play for a United player injured. Yet, nothing justifies the slap. He deserved a red.
Refereeing was clearly unfair. Chelsea were denied many corners and a penalty kick. The bottomline
So penalties it were, the moment the keepers dreaded. In this case, the Chelsea strikers, because of their failure to score past Van-der-Sar in the Community Shield final shootout back last August.
Two a piece sent the keeper the wrong way. But the third one was a miss by Christiano Ronaldo, and Chelsea continued scoring. They just had to score the last one when their captain John Terry stepped up to take the last kick, slipped and fell… and missed..
Agony continued as Anelka missed and The Reds celebrated. Yes. They left Chelsea in second place. Yet again.
I came back home this vacations without a project to do, meanwhile many of my friends had applied for one and successfully achieved one. I had applied late, and added to that my not-so-great grades, contributed to my failure in getting a project.
Two days into my stay, we were at the airport expecting my brother to walk out of the terminal, he had arrived today from the same hell-hole the common man call Trichy. And then my parents meet the mother of this girl in my batch.
"She's coming today. Yeah she's got a project in so-and-so college and she's coming to spend a week before going for the project." A big smile followed. She asked me when I came and what I had planned. I replied that I didn't have anything to do and would be jobless for the next 70 days.
After this both my parents turn to me and ask me why I didn't get a project. I said I didn't know, which was quite the truth. Maybe it were my grades, maybe I applied late, maybe I don't deserve to get a project, maybe I'm just a good-for-nothing jackass... Maybe.. But I spared myself from saying all this. I just walked away when I thought they were done with what they had to say. Five minutes later again they come to me and ask me the same question and they say that I should have applied earlier. I just apologize again and say that next time I would keep in mind whatever they said.
My brother arrived and what followed was another story showcasing my exceptional organizational skills, I had left my file of certificates and grade-sheets and my roommate had told my brother he found it. That ensured the firing continued and a strange feeling followed, I actually wished I was back in college. I had never felt this two days into my vacation. Maybe it was just temporary, I told myself.
Anyhow, a few days later, I find a mail from the HoD of a college accepting my proposal for a project. All I did was smile to myself, just a bit surprised, at least someone had some faith in me. I thought that day would never come. I'd lost all confidence in myself for sometime, and it came back, gradually. The talks are still on, and probably I have got this project.
I don't know why, but I really find answering some questions very hard. I do not know the answers myself, and that really gets some people wild. Like, why do I get low marks(parents), why I didn't get a project(parents), why did I leave my file in the room(parents), why do I have to stammer(everyone who doesn't know me well), why do I keep my room so dirty(my floor-mates),why am I wasting my time playing some arbit pieces on my guitar(Ron), why can't I ever get angry(ME!!).
Why do indifferent attitude towards everything? But again, I do not know the answer to this too. I'm not happy I got a project. Neither am I happy staying here at home all day long. I wish somebody would tell me what I really want in life.
I was just reading the newspaper today and I came across this article about a website which helps one build their vocabulary. That's the good part. You are benefited whether you're a student, teacher or an office-goer. Building your vocabulary always helps.
But the better part is, for every meaning of a word you guess correctly, they donate 20 grams of rice to the UN-WFP (United Nations World Food Program). Believe it or not, it's true. Revenues are generated by advertisements on the page. Don't irk, they're not the annoying pop-ups and flashing things telling you that you've won a million dollars for doing nothing, but rather they're quite relevant.
Free Rice is the organization I'm talking about, their website www.freerice.org is becoming increasingly popular and they've donated 31,788,161,190 grains of rice till date.
So what're you waiting for?? Please spend at least sometime helping yourself to feed the needy and eliminate hunger. UN has estimated the cost of eliminating hunger to be $195 bn per year. This is being achieved by several countries contributing a part of their GDP to UN. Check out the full list here.
I think this is an excellent way of helping without much spending of time and zero spending of your money. And another lesson, please do not waste food, for you have no idea how many people will kill to eat that same food you're wasting. Pictures of children picking up dustbins in urban neighborhoods in search of food really moves me.
I hope this post affects some, if not all of you. Please grab this opportunity to help the needy if you haven't already.

Well, I'm pretty excited by the fact that my blog won a Blog Of The Day Award !! :D Check it out here. I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined my blog would get it. I just saw it today while the award was conferred to me on April 11. !! Hmmm.. Doesn't that show how avid a blogger I am ?? Hehe.. I do have excuses mind you.. I was tied up with my practicals and finally my semester exams so I had absolutely no time to come online and update my blog where I would've posted continuous posts about how irritated I was with the college. Anyhow those days are gone and I have 73 days exact, till I return to eternal hell again.. for another semester. After being conferred this great honor, I solemnly promise I shall make amends and blog more regularly :P .. No I'm serious !! :P
Forgive the smileys but I'm in a very jolly kinda mood coz im Back Home with my parents and my brother will join the fun in another two days time..
I just recently read an article about how more than a million children die annually in India under the age of one month just because of lack of proper health care (as in basic amenities like child birth facilities, vaccinations etc. ) . That disgusted me even more and I shall blog soon about it, after some research. Meanwhile Health Minister Mr. Ramadoss is more concerned about removal of alcohol related scenes from Indian movies. Well, frankly I shall curb my freedom of speech in fear and let you decide what to say after you read my blog post.
Till Then,
Alvida,

The corporate world is one place where I still have to take my first leap. Understanding mergers and acquisitions has always fascinated me. So many factors just affecting one transaction, it amuses and confuses me all the same. The company about to be taken over appears like a fish looking about for some water to dive into, to save itself from the seemingly inevitable. Often organizations give in, often they fight till their last breath until they have no choice but to sell of their company.
I'm really confused as to how someone else can actually make life so hard for you.. So you have no other choice but to sell of the company you worked all your life for.
All of you must've heard about the proposal by Microsoft to take over Yahoo. Here's an article I wrote a few days back. Please note it's just a compilation of information from the Web, so please don't sue me :D
Here goes:
1st February 2008 marked the supposed beginning of a new era in the internet world. Microsoft offered 44.6 bn USD for acquiring Yahoo! Inc. They offered USD 31 per share and said it would be an exciting new prospect in the internet world, clearly suggesting none of them could take on the search and advertising juggernaut Google.
This was just one day after Yahoo! announced massive job cuts across all it's branches across the world. Following the announcement by Microsoft, Yahoo! stock index figures rose 56 % to $29.95. Also US stock index futures rose dramatically.
Stock market experts began to turn their heads towards Yahoo! for the answer.
Microsoft said the takeover would result in annual savings of over a billion dollars and synergies of the merger would fall into areas like scale economics, R&D Facilities, operational efficiencies and emerging user experiences.
It is interesting to note that the MS and Yahoo! board members had a meeting in early 2007 considering the merger, but the Yahoo! board said:
“Now is not the right time from the perspective of our shareholders to enter into discussions regarding an acquisition transaction.”
Referring to precisely the same quote, MS said that the market situation has not changed much and it's high time they thwart the "one player who is consolidating its dominance through acquisition."
On 10 Feb, 2008, Yahoo! announced its decision. Till this day, various experts cited guesses on what the decision would be. Most of them came out with a "no". Rightly so.
MS and Yahoo! differ completely on the modus operandi of business:
Microsoft has built its Web services largely using its proprietary tools like the .Net programming system; Yahoo! has a well-known open-source culture. Yahoo! principally uses FreeBSD, which is well regarded for its stability and its strong security.
Microsoft and Yahoo! have drastically opposite philosophies on open-source software. While Microsoft has used some open-source code, it has generally not contributed technology to the open-source community. In contrast, Yahoo! has been an extensive contributor and has built its internal computing platform almost entirely from open source.
Yahoo! released several statements between 1 Feb 2008 and 10 Feb 2008 saying that they would consider the opportunity carefully. Finally on Feb 10, Yahoo! announced that they had formally turned down the proposal, quoting that $31 per share was “massively under-valuing” Yahoo!.
Following this refusal, Yahoo! released its annual report. In that, was an entire section labeled "Microsoft’s unsolicited acquisition proposal has created a distraction for our management and uncertainty that may adversely affect our business." It contained lines such as:
The review and consideration of the Microsoft proposal (and any alternate proposals that may be made by other parties) have been, and may continue to be, a significant distraction for our management and employees and have required, and may continue to require, the expenditure of significant time and resources by us. Microsoft’s unsolicited acquisition proposal has also created uncertainty for our employees and this uncertainty may adversely affect our ability to retain key employees and to hire new talent. Microsoft’s unsolicited acquisition proposal may also create uncertainty for current and potential publishers, advertisers and other business partners, which may cause them to terminate, or not to renew or enter into, arrangements with us.
Also, it says that Yahoo! has been hit with seven stockholder suits, and these are turning out to be very time consuming and expensive. Also, it says that if this deal doesn't go through, the stock price of Yahoo! will most likely plunge.
So true, but the longer this takeover attempt takes, the harder Yahoo! will find it to recover. If the deal succeeds, then Yahoo! will be folded into MS. If it doesn't, Yahoo! will still struggle to survive against the giant Google.
So, what do you expect? A Yahoo! alliance with Google??
You guessed right. Within days Yahoo! considered an alliance with Google to thwart the takeover process by MS. But within a few days reports started pouring in that Yahoo! was considering a merger with AOL, in which Google has a 5% stake. Even Google said it would be supportive of such a deal between AOL and Yahoo!.
The annual stockholders meeting of Yahoo! is scheduled to be held in March and we can expect a final decision after that meeting.
Till then, rumors will float; so we’ll have to be careful with what to believe and what not to believe.
Signing off,
Hardik

As i mentioned in my earlier post, I prepared a quiz for the CD-ROM to be distributed in VORTEX 08, I've decided to upload it.
To download the questions, click here.
To download the solutions, please wait until next week, as Vortex will be over. So till then I don't think I should upload the solutions.
I would rate this quiz easy, anyone with a decent computer knowledge can crack it easily. So happy quizzing :D
Inquizitively yours,

This weekend turned out to be like just another one. Came Friday afternoon and I was hurraying away, looking forward to my first weekend in which I could relax properly, thanks to the Pragyan(The National Level Technical Festival of NIT Trichy) and Vortex (The National Level Symposium of Computer Science and Engg. Department, NIT Trichy) work that had been handed out to me.
Once Pragyan got over, Vortex work continued without a break. My colleagues and me had just finished making our website for Vortex then i get called for the design team too, which in-turn was doing the content work for a CD-ROM we are going to distribute to the participants of Vortex. So i got the job of writing an article, and making a quiz.
So coming back to Friday.. In the evening I was determined to wake up the next day on-time for mess food (that means at least 9 a.m. ) .. Come Saturday morning and it's 11:15 a.m. and I sigh heavily, looking at my cell, I wasn't surprised I'd missed 15 alarms. Not a surprise to me though, I remember missing 30 alarms once a few months back. Never knew I'd make such ill-use of multiple alarms in my phone. The day just lingered, I even forgot I had a networking assignment to submit by 8 pm Sunday, which I'm remembering as I presently write this post !! Sigh...
Anyways, Saturday night comes along and I tell myself.. "Come on.. You can do it.. " And today I wake up at 10:45 again, just a 30 minute improvement span. Maybe I'll try it next week.. Sounds like a great idea...
If you're wondering what I do on weekdays to make a good enough attendance sheet, It's always post 8:15.. No matter how hard I try, this whole semester the earliest I've woken up on a weekday (or any day for that matter ) is 8 .. I don't know who or what to blame. I've tried everything, sleeping early, multiple alarms in multiple phones, nothing seems to work. And the worst part is I'm so (seemingly) helpless about it. It's just something I'm not able to control.
I'm feeling drowsy already thanks to the perfect temperature in the Internet Lab. There comes the first yawn of the evening. I'm actually looking forward to the food we ordered from outside.. some salvation from the mess in the mess.
Good Night,
Hardik

Today marked the end of another Pragyan.. the "International Tech Fest" by our college, NIT Trichy.. Well , listening to the valediction speech by our director, it seemed like it was a huge success.. There's only one thing I have to say for that.. LOL..
Now the reason for the topic being thick skinned, is just accumulating everything I'm seeing since the past few months in this place. Just carefully observing the decisions of the Administration of this institution just amazes me to how thick skinned can anyone be.
It started off last semester when a few seniors were caught red-handed "ragging" some 1st years.. Do they even know what's ragging ? Well anyways, strict action was taken against the seniors and what followed after that made life miserable for the firsties..
The 1st year boys hostel was sealed from the outside, and a curfew imposed at 10, failing which you can sleep wherever the hell you wanna sleep if you're not in the hostel by that time.. Oh don't twitch yet, first they just sealed the entrance and exits.. After that, the parapets were sealed off so that nobody can "jump off" and escape. Have a look at the hostel now and it seems no less than a Central Jail in some dump.
Sigh, really sad ain't it ??
Then, as we came back from home this semester, many surprises awaited our arrival, and each one of them knocked us really hard..
Firstly, the non-refunding of the money which was said to be refundable.. That will apparently be routed to the RECAL (REC Alumni Association).. This really lacks confirmation for some people, but not for me cause I went to collect this refund and I was refused it..
Secondly, the 2 coffee shops (Bru and Nescafe) are our only salvation in this place, where the food is so great even flies start dying over it.. I'm NOT kidding. Maximum flies are found DEAD, brutally murdered by the stench of the food cooked by our wondeful mess annas (Literally translated as Mess Elder Brothers).. Now, our very great administration orders the 2 coffee shops to close down by 12 in the night, JUST WHEN WE REQUIRE COFFEE TO KEEP US AWAKE.. When approached with this allegation, they said this step was to ensure that THE CHILDREN SLEEP EARLY.. Now haven't these people attended college.. To do anything beyond 12 in the night we guys really need a cup of coffee or a Lays packet to keep us awake.. How hard is it to understand this fact ? Now the combined effect of terrible food throughout the day, and no food and water at night... Hmmmm.. You can imagine what kind of a life we're having here..
Talking about life in a hostel, brings me to the hostel I reside in.. Now in the start of this year, 95 % of the NRI students were grouped and put into THE BERYL HOSTEL, established 2 decades ago, if someone comes into this place, he may ask where are the bulldozers or the dynamites to blow out this structure, simply because it's got more holes in the walls than cement. The spiderwebs on the walls have given it an creepy look, the dust particles are omnipresent and through the sun-rays it's like a sandstorm engulfing the whole place. And the sanitation facilities are just so excellent, well it would be just inappropriate to mention it on the World Wide Web.
I would save a description of the most important people in the college, thankless as ever.. We slog day and night for them, so careful not to digress from the conduct expected from us, we often forget who we actually were, how we actually thought, laughed, smiled, spoke and behaved.
NRIs are thought to be shameless, selfish, disrespectful spoiled brats. We have to be so careful of disclosing our identity, often we lie, to save ourselves.. But of course that's fine.. I guess we shameless people deserve that much at least. The discrimination varies, from inconspicuous to highly flaunting levels.
And, after doing so much for the college, all we get is this. Oh how could i forget, a 3-4 lakh salary and a lifetime to cherish.. Is that what we really cherish ?? Ask any college pass-outs, what do they cherish from their days back here.. the replies include friends, BRU, internet lab, counter strike, dota, octa, dhaba, sam fox, pragyan, festember,NITTFEST, !! Catch my drift ??
The whole feel about the city is so thick-skinned, people just waiting to loot you of the little happiness someone can find in this place, the main source of happiness being friends. There are buses who zoom past the college and only stop a kilometer away... Why ?? Cause thats the route. Thats the way of life here.I do agree many people are friendly and helpful, but for someone like me, I don't think I can ever like this city. I'm just thankful to my friends who keep me sane..
Coming back to Pragyan 08, this year it touched new highs.
The marketing team famed for achieving high levels of cash since a long time failed this year, at least for me.. There was no main sponsor for Pragyan. The stalls looked like some fair in some village of India (actually thinking our college is in Thuvakudi, a village !!). Most of the guest lectures were video conferences, of which one of them got canceled.. Very few events succeeded this time. I think we should take a break next year and not hold pragyan at all.. why hold something just for the sake of it ??? There were minimal pragyan banners anywhere and apart from the grounds in which stalls were held, there was no indication that an international level tech fest was being held in the middle of Thuvakudi..
Remember the refundable deposit ?? Yeah it's for use in stalls of pragyan and other events.. Now this time they decide to NOT LET US USE OUR OWN MONEY WE PAID THEM.. And they set a upper limit of Rs. 500 to be spent by each student in a place where EVERYTHING IS SOLD AT TWICE THE MRP.. Now how could anyone come up with a possible explanation for this.. THEY ACTUALLY DONT WANT US TO EAT A NICE MEAL FOR FOUR FREAKIN DAYS IN A SEMESTER OF FOUR MONTHS.
Anyways for most of us it was just four days of relaxation, and it seems the next day is also a rest day. Do we deserve it?? Like hell we do.. Being a member of the QAOS team for pragyan, i couldn't actually do any work thanks to the wonderful event manager i was appointed to..
Forgive me for a bitter taste of sarcasm in whatever i said, I just had to get this out of me.. It's 11 p.m. now in Thuvakudi and another rule is gonna come into play. The internet lab is gonna close now in an hrs time.. Wonder why..
Oh ya.. just to put an icing on whatever i said, some weeks back, I decided I would participate in Dalal Street, a stock market simulation event.. So i googled "Sensex" and this page comes up in bold handwriting:
ACCESS HAS BEEN DENIED
You are seeing this error because what you attempted to access appears to contain, or is labeled as containing, material that has been deemed inappropriate.
So much for trying to learn something new.
For those who are furious at me for writing this, it's just the truth wat im saying so plz forgive me if it offended anyone.. Thanks for the awesome support,
